Spring Trip Information!

We have now received full approval from the administration for our Spring Trip to Port Aransas on April 8-10, 2022! We hope that we will have every band student (winds, percussion, color guard) join us. This is going to be a wonderful trip and a great chance to make lifelong memories.

All payments for the trip will be made directly to Perform America, our travel company. The most convenient option is to pay online with a credit card or electronic check. You can pay by check but you must mail that check. They do not allow any “in person” payment methods due to COVID-10 protocols at their office. The attached document will walk you through the process of setting up your online access and registering for the trip. The payment schedule is also listed on the attached document.

If you have fundraising offsets you would like to apply to the trip we will do that near the end of the payment schedule. If you aren’t sure what offsets you have available, login to your Charms account and click on the Finances button. If you don’t know how to login to Charms there is a video walkthrough on the band website. If there is a balance in your Miscellaneous Ledger those funds can be used to offset the cost of the trip. If you have enough funds to pay for the entire trip please email me. I have updated the miscellaneous ledgers to include the proceeds from our Trip Boomerang fundraiser. We will have at least one more fundraiser, Ready Set Fund, that will start on October 22 if students still need to earn more offsets for their trip.

If you are planning to go on the trip, please be sure you setup your online account and make your first payment by October 20, 2021.

If you are interested in being a chaperone for this trip you can email me and I will make a list of interested parties. Its likely that we will have more interested chaperones than we have spots. If that happens, I will select from the list to fill the available spots. Preference will be given to those who are actively involved with the band (bus chaperones, pit crew, uniform washing, etc.)

As always, if you have any questions, please reach out so I can help.
