To Our Volunteers
Volunteering with the Tiger Band is a rewarding experience! Volunteers get to know many of the other band parents and those friendships often last past their student's time at Klein Collins. Volunteers also get a front row seat to their student's band experience and are able to witness all of the memories being made. There are many types of volunteer jobs available for different skill sets and skill levels including:
- Photography
- Chaperoning students to football games and contests
- Putting out flags on holidays
- Washing uniforms
- Helping load and unload equipment at games and contests (the Pit Crew)
- Helping with the band banquet
- Organizing snacks and drinks for various events (hospitality)
- Working at a TCGC contest (many jobs available including check-in, door monitors, parking lot attendants, warm up area timers, etc.)
- Helping build props
- Attracting and managing sponsorships
- Assisting with the Feed the Band program that provides meals to students on game days

KISD Volunteer Application
In order to volunteer in KISD, you must complete a volunteer application and background check. KISD performs these background checks in an effort to ensure the safety of our students. This must be done every school year. Click on the link below to access the KISD volunteer application.
Once your application has been approved, please forward the approval confirmation email to KCBAVolunteers@kleincollinsband.org.
How to volunteer for an Event in CutTime
- Start from a text message or email that was sent to you from CutTime.
- Click a link at the bottom to open a web browser page.
- If you aren’t already logged in, then click the button to “Verify” your account and follow the directions. Then you are logged in as the Guardian for your Student.
- You may see the specific message you clicked from. If so, click on the top left to go back to Dashboard.
- Or you may start on the Dashboard.
- From the Dashboard, click your student’s name. This brings you to an options page.
- From the options, click Events.
- Look in the upcoming event list for the one you want to volunteer at.
- Click the “Volunteers Needed” button.
- You will see all the positions. Click one to sign up for it.
