The Klein Collins High School Tiger Band and Color Guard numbers over 200 dedicated young adults from over 80 neighborhoods. The Tiger Band and Guard is one of the top bands in the area and performs at all the regular season Klein Collins Football games, both home and away, as well as for their playoff games. Each student spends many hours a week in addition to his or her normal school day to prepare for and perform each show. Once football season is over, Concert Season begins for the band students. In addition, Color Guard and the percussion section spend the second half of the year participating in an indoor winter competition circuit where both teams have won multiple awards including each winning the TCGC State Championship for their class in 2022. These experiences help build academic excellence, discipline, character, pride and self-confidence which forms the springboard for even greater achievements in adulthood.
