Charms is a management system for music education programs. The Tiger Band uses Charms to manage many aspects of the band program including maintaining student records and parent/student contact information, sending communications, sign ups for volunteer events, and very importantly the band schedule. Every band rehearsal, football game, contest, and any other band or color guard events are all listed in Charms, including information such as the location or venue, the call time for students, and the expected return time.
It is very important that your contact information be updated in the Charms system and that you reference the Charms calendar for accurate scheduling information. When logging in to Charms for the first time, have your student’s 6-digit school ID handy. Also, please see below for instructions on how to sync the Charms calendar to your phone calendar.

The KCBA captures many of the band events and uploads the pictures to a Flickr account for band families to enjoy and share. Please remember that these pictures are for personal use only. If they are to be used in news articles or in any way that will be seen by the public, credit must be given to the KCBA website which owns the rights to them.
